On March 12, 2021, Dr. Susan Lund, Partner at McKinsey & Company (Washington) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) Advisory Board Member, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. In her speech evaluating the future of "work" in the aftermath of COVID-19, Dr. Lund stated that the pandemic has accelerated the changes in global value chains that were already affected by technological advancements. Remarking that the concepts of working hours, work week and the nature of work could soon change around the world, Dr. Lund stressed the importance of conducting more research to better understand the new global financial trends. Following her speech, Dr. Lund answered the participants’ questions.
