Rona Yırcalı is the Chairman of the Yırcalı Group of companies
specializing in energy (transformers, hydro and wind power), animal
feed, textiles, synthetic fibers, tourism, finance, and mining. He is
the Chairman of the Assembly of the Balıkesir Chamber of Industry,
Chairman of the World Chambers Federation (WCF), Executive Board Member
of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Chairman of the Executive
Committee of ICC Turkey, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the
Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), Chairman of the Board
of Trustees of the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV), member of the
Executive Board of the World Turkish Business Council, board of Trustees
at TEMA and of the Higher Advisory Council of TÜSİAD. Mr Yırcalı has
also served as Chairman of the Union of Chambers of Turkey (TOBB),
Chairman of DEİK, Chairman of Yapı Kredi Bank and Türk Henkel. He is a
graduate of American Robert College in Istanbul and received his
Business Administration degree from the University of Miami.
