2014 Term

 

The first part of GRF Young Scholars Abroad 2014, the seminar program for Turkish undergraduates currently studying at leading universities across the world, was held on June 16-18 at Kadir Has University Cibali Campus. Led by GRF Vice-Chairman and President Mr. Memduh Karakullukçu, the seminars also included presentations of some GRF members on their areas of expertise. Prof. Mustafa Aydın, Rector of Kadir Has University; General Edip Başer, Former Deputy Chief of General Staff; Prof. Bertil Emrah Oder, Dean of Law School of Koç University and Ambassador Özdem Sanberk, Former Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the program as guest speakers and shared their assessments respectively on “The Crisis in Ukraine and the Shifting Geopolitics of the Black Sea Region, Future of Russian-Western Relations and Turkey”, “Global Security Problems”, “Constitutional Democracy in Turkey and Political Leadership” and “Legacy of Atatürk”. GRF Member Pianist Mrs. Süher Pekinel also convened with the group at lunch.
