GRF Young Scholars Abroad 2012
May 30 - June 1

The first part of GRF Young Scholars Abroad 2012, the seminar program for top tier Turkish undergraduates currently studying at leading universities around the world, took place between May 30 – June 1 at Koç University Research Center for Anatolian Civilization. Participants of the 2012 program consisted of students from Cass Business School, Columbia, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Mcgill, MIT and Yale Universities. Led by GRF Vice-Chairman and President Mr. Memduh Karakullukçu, the seminars also included presentations of some of our distinguished members on their areas of expertise. Chairman of Group 29 Mr. Metin Fadıllıoğlu, Rector of Koç University Mr. Umran İnan, Former Ambassador Mr. Sönmez Köksal, President of Koç Holding Energy Group Mr. Erol Memioğlu and Board Member of Doğuş Holding Mr. Muhsin Mengütürk attended the program and shared their assessments respectively on ‘Education in Turkey’, ‘Technology-University-Defense’, ‘Protocol’ & ‘Middle East’, ‘Energy Policy of Turkey’ and ‘Exchanges in International Financial Regulations’.
