2022 - 2023 Term
Fourth Meeting

 

The GRF Young Fellows Program is designed to provide young undergraduate students studying in the most prestigious universities within Turkey and at abroad with a platform where they can analyze and discuss global issues in a free, rational, and constructive manner. The fourth and final meeting of the program’s 2022 - 2023 term was held on June 20, 2023, at the GRF Offices.

In the final session of the program, the participants presented their book analyses. The books are chosen the work in tandem with the overall themes that were discussed throughout the program, and each participant also handed an individual book report prior to the presentation.

The books discussed during the presentations are as follows:

  • Less Is More: How Degrowth Will Save the World – Jason Hickel

  • Chip War: The Fight for the World’s Most Critical Technology – Chris Miller

  • Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Max Tegmark
