"2014-2015: Turkey-Australia Collaborating
in the G-20 Troika" Meeting

On December 20, 2013, Global Relations Forum and the Australian Embassy organized a joint Roundtable meeting on G-20 in Istanbul. The meeting  marked the launch of Australian Presidency to host the G20 in 2014 and the participation of Turkey in the G-20 Troika as of December 1, 2013. During the Roundtable, Australia’s Ambasssador to Turkey H.E. Ian Biggs and GRF President and Vice-Chairman Mr. Memduh Karakullukçu delivered keynote speeches on the priorities and strategies of their respective G-20 agendas, highlighting that the participation in the Troika will provide further impetus to the bilateral relationship of the two countries. The event was attended by distinguished business leaders, academics, think tank representatives and journalists.
