5th India – Turkey Forum

Within the framework of GRF’s Track II studies with India, the 5th meeting of the India – Turkey Forum was organized in collaboration with the Ananta Aspen Center on October 23rd, at the Hilton Bosphorus Hotel in Istanbul.
The meeting consisted of three sessions during which participants deliberated respectively on “the foreign policy ramifications of domestic political developments in Turkey and India”, “energy and regional economic implications of the nuclear deal with Iran” and “the economic implications of US-centered mega-trade deals”. In all of the sessions, a panel of four participants including a Co-Chair and a speaker from each delegation provided an overview of each side’s perspective on the matters discussed.
Following the three sessions, the participants discussed the opportunities for further dialogue and cooperation. The meeting was then concluded with a dinner.
