 Former Prime Minister of Canada Rt. Hon. Paul E. Martin and a delegation from the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) convened with GRF members at a working  dinner on October 22, 2014. Following Rt. Hon. Martin’s speech on the importance of the G-20 initiative for global governance; the CIGI delegation consisting of Former Deputy Foreign Minister of Mexico Amb. Andres Rozental, CIGI Senior Fellow Dr. Barry Carin, CIGI Distinguished Fellow Dr. Malcolm D. Knight and Director of CIGI Global Economy Program Dr. Domenico Lombardi, shared their views on the G-20 process, the lessons learned of the previous term presidencies, risks and expectations associated with Turkey’s G-20 presidency, and where Turkey stands in terms of G-20 presidency preparations. Following their speeches, the speakers received a wide range of questions from the participants.
