Prof. Chuck Hagel, Chairman of the Atlantic Council and Co-Chairman of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, who served as the Nebraska Senator between 1997-2009, spoke at a GRF roundtable meeting on November 17, 2011. Prof. Hagel shared with our members his assessments on the current state of global affairs and the ongoing economic and political crisis in the USA, with particular emphasis on the power of people, technology and effective leadership for creative solutions. During his speech, Senator Hagel also highlighted the importance of Turkey’s role as a source of stability in the Middle East given the developments in the region.
