Honorary Chairman of the Supreme Court of Appeals, Prof. Sami Selçuk, convened with GRF Members and a group of GRF Community members on March 9 at a Roundtable entitled “Systemic Problems of the Turkish Judiciary and Prospects for Amelioration”. During his speech, Prof. Selçuk focused on the state of the rule of law in Turkey and elaborated on the importance of language and legal education along with the institutional issues of the Turkish High Courts and the historic process through which European law was adopted in Turkey. Following his speech, Prof. Selçuk received a wide range of questions from the participants.
