On February 21st, Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Turkey Mr. İbrahim Kalın convened with ‘Turkey’s Approach to Security in the 21st Century’ Task Force and GRF members within the framework of Roundtable Series on “Security”. Mr. Kalın shared his assessments on the military and political elements affecting Turkey’s threat and risk perceptions, with particular emphasis on the breaking points observed in international relations over the last 30 years. Following his speech in which he highlighted Turkey’s significant role given the recent deveopments in the Middle East, Mr. Kalın received a wide range of questions from GRF and Task Force members.
