Online Meeting with Dr. Marie McAuliffe

On January 28, 2025, Dr. Marie McAuliffe, Head of the Migration Research and Publications Division at IOM Headquarters in Geneva, and Editor of IOM’s flagship World Migration Report, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. In her speech, titled "Terra Mobilis: Migration and Refugees in an Age of Crisis and Fragmentation", Dr. McAuliffe presented insights based on data from the 2024 World Migration Report, and emphasized the importance of accurately understanding migration dynamics for effective policy-making and stronger global cooperation. In this context, Dr. McAuliffe addressed global migration and refugee mobility, as well as the impact of crises on these movements. Following her speech, Dr. McAuliffe answered the participants’ questions.
