Ambassador Rogelio Francisco Emilio Pfirter, Former President of Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), convened with GRF members and a group of GRF Young Scholars at a Roundtable on October 30th. During his speech, Ambassador Pfirter gave a detailed overview of peace and stability efforts carried out by OPCW as well as his unique experience at the organization. Ambassafor Pfirter addressed the political and technical dimensions of the disarmament challenge, with particular focus on the recent use of chemical weapons in Syria.  Following his speech, Ambassador Pfirter received a wide range of questions from the participants.
