On December 12, 2012, Gerald Knaus, the Founding Chairman and the Lead Analyst of European Stability Initiative (ESI) convened with Turkey-EU Visa Studies Commission and GRF members within the framework of Roundtable Series on “Turkey-EU Visa Issue.” During his speech, Mr. Knaus gave an overview on key similarities between Western Balkan and Turkey experiences of the EU regarding visa liberalization process. Following his presentation where he also highlighted the importance of deepening political dimension of Turkey’s visa strategy in addition to legal initiatives, Mr. Knaus received a wide range of questions from GRF members.
