On March 21, 2016, Ambassador Leigh Turner, Consul General of the UK to Turkey and Director-General for Trade & Investment for Turkey, Central Asia and the South Caucasus, addressed GRF members at a roundtable. In his speech, Ambassador Turner first assessed the latest developments in Ukraine, where he was previously posted as Ambassador. He then focused on the importance of Ukaine and Turkey for British foreign policy, and suggested that despite their history of indifference towards each other, Turkey and Ukraine could collaborate on many different issues. After his presentation, Ambassador Turner received a wide range of questions from the participants.
