Former Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Iraq and the United Kingdom and GRF member Ambassador Ünal Çeviköz convened with GRF members and a group of GRF Community members at a roundtable on April 29 to discuss the future of the Turkey-Armenia relations. During his speech, Ambassador Çeviköz recounted the last 20 years of Turkish-Armenian relations based on his experiences as well as observations, focusing especially on the preparation and signature processes of the 2009 Protocols. He then evaluated the current state of the bilateral relations. Emphasizing the multidimensional nature of the relations, Ambassador Çeviköz stressed that in order for the normalization process to regain momentum, there is a need for a comprehensive and consistent policy towards Armenia that does not solely focus on the 1915 events.  Following his presentation, Ambassador Çeviköz received a wide range of questions and comments from the participants.
