Prof. Ali Karaosmanoğlu, Director of Center for Foreign Policy and Peace Research, convened with GRF members within the framework of Roundtable Series on “Security” on February 17st. During his speech, Prof. Karaosmanoğlu gave a detailed overview on changes in the theoretical and conceptual structure as well as basic assumptions of Security Studies, with particular focus on their implications for defense, safety and intelligence policies. Following his speech where he also outlined the tenets of institutional reform in the  security sector, Prof. Karaosmanoğlu received a wide range of questions from the participants.
