It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing of our Member and Faculty Member of Kadir Has University Law School Prof. Ayşe Işıl Ergüvenç, who had achieved the honor of being the first Turkish woman judge appointed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), and we extend our condolences to her family and all her loved ones.
