On June 1, 2022, Former Permanent Representative to NATO & GRF Vice-Chairman Ambassador (R) Ahmet Üzümcü, and Former Permanent Representative to NATO Ambassador (R) Fatih Ceylan, addressed GRF members at a roundtable meeting organized in Ankara Divan Çukurhan Hotel, following GRF’s Board of Directors meeting. Moderated by GRF President Ambassador (R) Selim Yenel, Ambassadors (R) Üzümcü and Ceylan examined how Finland and Sweden’s NATO applications will affect the dynamics of the alliance. Sharing the details of NATO’s New Strategic Concept, which has gained increased importance and immediacy following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Ambassadors (R) Üzümcü and Ceylan answered the participants’ questions following their speeches.

Following the meeting, GRF’s Board of Directors as well as meeting participants attended a cocktail prolongé.
