Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and Founding Member of GRF, was chosen by TIME Magazine for their “World’s 100 Most Influential People in 2021” list.

Having transformed the International Energy Agency to one of the world’s leading advisory authorities on energy technologies and reducing carbon emissions under his leadership, Dr. Fatih Birol was honored by TIME as the only Turkish name on their list.
