Ambassador Ertuğrul Apakan, was awarded, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Yves le Drian, the title of “Officier dans l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur”.

On March 25, 2018, in a ceremony held at the French Embassy in Kiev, the Chief Monitor to the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Mission to Ukraine and GRF Board Member, Ambassador Ertuğrul Apakan, was awarded, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Yves le Drian, the title of “Officier dans l’Ordre National de la Légion d’Honneur”.

The French “Légion d’Honneur” is an order of distinction established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802.
