On May 8, 2020, Ambassador Anthony Gardner, Former Permanent Representative of the US to the EU, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. In his speech entitled “The US Presidential Elections”, Ambassador Gardner shared with the participants the political vision and international policy plan of Joe Biden, the Democratic Party candidate in the upcoming elections. Ambassador Gardner stated that, contrary to the Trump administration’s actions, the US shouldn’t give up its leading role in international politics and emphasized the need to be in closer cooperation with partners like the EU and Turkey in this regard. Following his speech, Ambassador Gardner answered the participants’ questions.
