Online Meeting with Istanbul Economics Research & Consultancy

Istanbul Economics Research & Consultancy General Manager Can Selçuki met with the members of GRF and GRF Community members in an online meeting held on 1 May 2023. Based on the latest surveys of the Turkey Report, Selçuki pointed out that Turkish voters are becoming more attached to their political identities and the transition between parties has been decreasing in accordance with the deepening polarisation at the societal level. He also indicates that Cumhur Alliance’s voting turnout could increase in line with the positive perception of the economy in recent months. Selçuki underlined that the assessments about the second round of the elections may be groundless due to the uncertainty of political and economic dynamics.

 Following his speech, Selçuki answered the questions of the participants.
