On January 21, 2020, Prof. Fatma Ulucan Özkul, Lecturer at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences and Çağla Gül Şenkardeş, CEO of MenaPay, addressed GRF and GRF Community at a roundtable meeting. In their speech entitled “Digital Transformation; Blockchain Technology and the Representation of Cryptocurrencies in Financial Tables”, Prof. Özkul and Ms. Şenkardeş discussed the effects of digital transformation on Turkey’s labor markets, and examined the technical details of blockchain technologies. Prof. Özkul and Ms. Şenkardeş emphasized the advantages blockchain technology and cryptocurrency systems will bring to various sectors. Following their speech, Prof. Özkul and Ms. Şenkardeş answered the participants’ questions.
