On September 21, 2018, Ms. Anne McElvoy, Senior Editor of The Economist and Head of The Economist Radio, addressed GRF and GRF community members at a roundtable meeting. In her speech, Ms. McElvoy elaborated on the issues regarding recent US-Turkey relations, Europe’s response to the Brexit negotiations and the Syrian conflict. The meeting then proceeded with an interview. GRF President and Vice-Chairman Mr. Memduh Karakullukçu interviewed Ms. McElvoy on the viability of a second Brexit referendum, Europe’s future in the face of rising populism and the changing dynamics of the liberal international order. After the interview, Ms. McElvoy answered the participants’ questions.
