On April 6, 2021, Dr. Nathalie Tocci, Director of the Istituto Affari Internazionali, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. Speaking on the future of Turkey - European Union relations, Dr. Tocci examined potential opportunities for cooperation among the most pressing current issues. Stating that although the positions and values of the parties in the bilateral relationship remains relatively unchanged, Dr. Tocci considered the possibility that the resurgent appetite for diplomacy following the election of Joe Biden in the US might play a role in pushing the Turkey-EU relationship into a more productive state. Following her speech, Dr. Tocci answered the participants’ questions.
