On December 14, 2020, Dr. Victor Fung, Group Chairman of Li & Fung Group of Companies, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. Giving a speech entitled "The Latest Developments in Hong Kong and the Trajectory of China-US Relations in the Post-Trump Era", Dr. Fung remarked that due to Asia’s strict regional handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, China has made great strides in economic recovery. Stating that Hong Kong as a region is now a leader in technology and digital manufacturing, Dr. Fung nevertheless explained that it has been negatively affected by recent US-China tensions and emphasized the importance of keeping the tensions between both countries at a manageable level in the post-Trump era. Following his speech, Dr. Fung answered the participants’ questions.
