On March 4, 2019, Ambassador Ahmet Üzümcü, Former Director-General of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), addressed GRF and GRF Community members at a roundtable meeting. In his speech, Ambassador Üzümcü shared his impressions on the global security issues discussed at the recent 2019 Munich Security Conference. Stating that a main theme of the conference was the difficulty of international liberal order mechanisms in predicting uncertainties, Ambassador Üzümcü conveyed that conference participants expressed frustration with the tension created by the antagonism between the US, China and Russia over matters of global security. Following his speech, Ambassador Üzümcü answered the participants’ questions.
