On June 30, 2021, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. In his speech entitled "Positive Agenda on Turkey-EU Relations", Ambassador Kaymakcı touched on the latest developments between Turkey and the EU, as well as shared his assessment on the trajectory of future relations. Ambassador Kaymakcı stressed the importance of creating a new high-level dialogue mechanism and stated that if Turkey can fulfill some of the conditions in the EU’s reform and action plan, talks on visa liberalization could be held. Following his speech, Ambassador Kaymakcı answered the participants’ questions.
