On June 15, 2021, Dr. Stewart M. Patrick, CFR Director of the Program on International Institutions & Global Governance, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. In his speech entitled "Global Governance", Dr. Patrick discussed how to ensure multilateral cooperation at a time when global norms are changing rapidly. Stating that the biggest challenge facing the current global order is disagreement on which sets of international rule-based frameworks apply to which countries in which areas, and detailed the policies of major actors like the US and China on the matter. Following his speech, Dr. Patrick answered the participants’ questions.
