GRF Member and Global Environment Facility (GEF) Knowledge Management Coordinator Dr. Yasemin Biro Kirtman addressed GRF and GRF Community members at a roundtable meeting on December 26. In her speech, Dr. Biro Kirtman used scientific data to demonstrate the extent of climate change. She then elaborated on international efforts to counter climate change as well as the financial and political challenges against tangible progress on the issue. Finally, Dr. Biro Kirtman discussed Trump-era disturbances to the Paris Climate Accord. Following her presentation, Dr. Yasemin Biro Kirtman received a wide range of questions and comments from the participants.
