On January 24, 2022, Prof. Mustafa Aydın, Professor of International Relations at Kadir Has University and President of the International Relations Council of Turkey, addressed GRF and GRF Community members at an online meeting. In his speech, Prof. Aydın shared with the participants the 2021 results of the “Research on Social and Political Trends in Turkey”, an ongoing study since 2010 that aims to measure the changes in the Turkish public’s political, social, economic and cultural agendas. Stating that last years economic troubles and the ongoing refugee-related difficulties are major factors when accounting for the Turkish public’s political and social leanings, Prof. Aydın underlined that pandemic-related issues still remain a concern. Following his presentation, Prof. Aydın answered the participants’ questions.
